The Challenge
Cally Munchy is a pan-African business pioneering the concept of afro-fusion food. Founded in 2015 and run as a series of pop-ups, short-term residencies, and private catering. The goal was clear, create an identity that shows the vibrance of the multitude of cultures across Africa and the openness to explore flavours and spices from around the world.
The Solution
We focused on flavour, colour and shapes to communicate our message. Steering clear of being pigeon-holed into 1 specific culture. An identity system that was familiar enough yet distinct in it's own right. Something that could stand the test of time as they push closer to a decade of being operational with a consistent identity.
